This is the 5th Annual all woman’s Off -road event in support of the YWCA – Minden/Haliburton Woman’s shelter. This event was originally created to unite the female wheeling community by having an all-female event that focuses on empowerment and giving back in support of the YWCA – Minden Haliburton Woman’s shelter.Family members, BFF’s, spouses and children are welcome to attend the event as passengers for no cost if they choose, but the focus is to have an all-female driven run.Details:
The event offers either Public land trails or Private land trails. The public land trails can be accessed by anyone at anytime and are located between the area of Minden, Bobcaygeon and Gooderham. There are 4 public trails ranging from Beginner to advanced. Each participant will be designated to the trail based on the drivers experience and vehicle modifications. This is to ensure everyone has a great day!The private land trails located in Bobcaygeon are an exclusive opportunity for ladies with some experience and capable vehicles to enjoy some challenging terrain with beautiful views and various obstacles to attempt. We recommend that you have at least been out on an offroad trail once before and that your minimum tire size is 33′ and you have a minimum of a 2 inch lift. This private land does come at an extra cost, which we believe is completely worthwhile since access to this land is hard to come by and the trails are pristine. How to Register:We will require all female drivers to be members of the OF4WD for insurance purposes and access to the trail index. If you are not currently a member of the OF4WD please go to OF4WD.com and register for a membership. If you have issues doing this please contact membership@of4wd.comYou MUST log into your OF4WD account to register for the event. Then click HERE.It is paramount to fill out all the required fields on the registration form honestly and correctly to help us assign groups and provide the best experience possible for everyone. The trails will range from beginner to advanced. If you have attended before, the organizers will try and ensure you are assigned to a different trail then in the past.Guides:
This is a guided trail event. Your guides are all females and have over the years guided at many different events and newbie runs and have between 3 and 15+ years of experience off-roading.What to do on the day of the event:****You will receive a confirmation email a week or so before the event with details of your assigned trail and where and what time to meet your guides on the morning of the event. For ladies attending just for the day from the city – we will be meeting at or near the trail head you are assigned to on the morning of the event to cut down on drive time.
