About:This is the 4th Annual all woman’s run which was originally created to unite the female wheeling community together by having an all-female driver registration for a day run in support of the YWCA – Minden Haliburton Woman’s shelter. We encourage attendees to stay for the weekend at Minden Off-Road Park for a Saturday night bon-fire and beverages of your choice.Family members including spouses and children are welcome to attend the event as passengers for no cost if they choose, but the focus is to have an all-female driven run.***If you are a Male and register you will not be refunded and will not be allowed to drive – your registration costs will be donated to the Woman’s shelter***
Guides:This is a guided trail run. Your guides are all females and have over the years guided at multiple different events and have multiple years of experience off-roading.Details:The event offers either Public land trails or private land trails. The public land trails can be accessed by anyone at anytime and are located between the area of Minden, Bobcaygeon and Gooderham. There are 4 public trails ranging from Beginner to advanced. Each participant will be designated to the trail based on the drivers experience and vehicle modifications. This is to ensure everyone has a great day!The private land trails located in Bobcaygeon are an exclusive opportunity for ladies with some experience and capable vehicles to enjoy some challenging terrain with beautiful views and various obstacles to attempt. We recommend that you have at least been out on an off-road trail twice before and that your minimum tire size is 33′ and you have a 2 inch lift. It is paramount to fill out all the required fields on the registration form honestly and correctly to help us assign groups and provide the best experience possible. The Rally – Muskoka 2022 is a great opportunity to meet lots of like-minded overlanders and gain ideas for your personal build or next adventure. Get out and drive in small self-guided groups and explore a new region of Ontario. We have seen friendships blossom and grow at our events and we can’t wait to add to the OverlandNTH family this September.Camp
Enjoy 2 nights of camping on and around Deerhurst Resort’s decommissioned runway in the heart of Muskoka’s rugged wilderness. Bring your rig and show off your kit while sharing what you’ve learned throughout your build experiences and travels. Overlanders will enjoy their own campsite area providing ample space for rigs and tents. This event is family-friendly so please bring the spouse, kids, dog, and uncle. Whoever just be respectful. We will have different vibes set up along the runway, so if late-night stories are what you want, we got you! If quiet early sleep is the wish, we got you too! We have 3,000 feet to spread out.
Please provision for sustaining your group with food, water and shelter. We are overlanders and will be helpful if needed, but you must be self-sustainable whenever possible on the runway.
Toilets and hand washing stations are provided along with communal fire bowls and wood scattered throughout the event space for overlanders’ warmth and comfort. If you’ve joined us on the runway before, you know these fires are the soul of the event. Bring your chairs and meet your new best friends.
Drinking water and showers are not provided so please again come prepared. We encourage you to take advantage of the “Get Fresh” room rate available at Deerhurst Resort on Sunday night.
Individual sites can’t be reserved, but should you be travelling with a group of 3 or more rigs and wish to be close to each other please contact us at info@overlandnth.ca and we will do our best to accommodate your requests.
The event is happening rain or shine, obviously, so come prepared to have fun in all weather.***Should you wish to be an exhibitor and sell your merchandise at the event please contact us at info@overlandnth.ca and a member of our team will be in touch!***
Drive
In our 3rd installment of the event, we will be changing the format slightly to have more of an Overlanding drive focus where Overlanders will enjoy exploring regional roads, trails, and points of interest. These are not mandatory, and you may stay and camp all weekend, but if desired, we have options for you. There will be a variety of drive options to allow for all skill and interest levels.
1) ***A guided trail run for those that are NEW to running in groups or off-road, and this option is vehicle restricted based on capability. (Limited numbers are available on Saturday and Sunday)
2) A self-guided route including milder off-road elements and lots of amazing side roads, and vistas. (Challenge/game elements TBA) This route will take you away from the runway for a few hours, so plan accordingly.
3) A local points of interest drive that includes some of the natural wonders in the Muskoka area, as well as some great shops, eateries, breweries etc.We will be observing Tread Lightly principles and will be sure to be stewards of the land as we explore, leaving only tire tracks, and taking only pictures.
Laugh
OverlandNTH is a family-friendly event where kids and parents can enjoy riding bikes or enjoying lawn games. We highly encourage you to bring non-motorized bikes, scooters, skateboards, etc. If you’ve ever spent a weekend on a runway, you’ll understand why.New this year we are excited to announce the Soap Box Derby! That’s right, we will be adding in an element of fun for the whole family offering a soap box derby down the far east end of the runway. Winners will not only earn bragging rights but they will also walk away with cash and some sweet prizes! Bet our cars are faster than yours…
Have fun with this. Wild and crazy builds are encouraged. The track is straight and has a gentle slope, but your car must have steering and brakes. Helmets are mandatory. This will occur Saturday afternoon and will have adult and kid divisions. No other rules apply other than gravity must be the only source of propulsion.
The Rigs
New this year will be a “show and shine” element. Let’s face it who doesn’t love to show off their kit and earn some bragging rights at the same time. The winners of each category will walk away with some sweet prizes courtesy of our partners and sponsors!

Where: 6941 Derry Rd, Milton, ON L9T 7H5 https://goo.gl/maps/ What: coffee and truck talk, get to meet your club members, and organize future trips with them! Every time we meet up we try and raise money for something. Whether it’s trail cleanups or some charities for children. This year we decided to help feed some kids and teamed up with Halton Food 4 Kids. This charity runs off grants and donations and I have personally seen the work they do to feed kids. This includes food for kids at school each day, and food packages for kids to bring home with them over the weekend ($15 feeds a kid over the weekend). TEC is going to try and match all donations! Visit the attached link for the food list you can donate. |
