14th Annual OF4WD Adopt A Road 2019

We will be hosting our annual highway cleanup on Sunday, May 5th this year. For those that don’t know, we cleanup both sides of Hwy 507 for 3 km heading North from the intersection with Hwy 36.

Again, we will be meeting at Flynn’s gas station for 9am, and heading out by 9:30. We are bringing a trailer to put garbage in so don’t worry about dirtying up the inside of your rig. Please bring your own work gloves and make sure to wear comfortable hiking boots (its a bit of walking). We will have a fullsize barbeque there, and burgers, dogs and pop will be provided for lunch, compliments of OF4WD. Lunch will be served at Flynns and then those that wish to can do a trail run in the afternoon.

If you know someone interested in helping out or joining OF4WD, feel free to bring them along.

4WheelWing Nights @ Gator Teds Tap and Grill
May 8 @ 7:00 pm

Life is better with upgrades!

So in true offroad style the OF4WD Roadshow and our proud Gold sponsor 4WheelParts are taking the wrenches to 4WheelWing Nights to build it bigger and better for you.

Our product development team has been busy secretly testing new potential establishments to bring you the best and all reviews have been excellent. Come join us as we test out our new location at Gator Teds Tap and Grill, located in the plaza at 1505 Guelph Line at the South East corner of Upper Middle Rd in Burlington.

Are you peckish for the traditional flightless fowl fare? (That would be wings) Well Gator Ted’s wings are excellent quality and size, available either breaded or in traditional Buffalo style with a variety of sauces, I recommend the Ghost Pepper sauce 😈. Looking for something different? No problem, they have a large menu with a wide variety of options, whether you’re craving healthy or just hangry.

Aaron, Dacia and 4WheelParts celebrity driver Ty Reid will be on hand to tell you about the latest must have accessories for your ride, and answer any technical questions, along with a couple OF4WD directors to let you know of the latest issues affecting the Ontario Offroad Community. New to wheeling? These are great events to meet fellow wheelers and make new friends, and as always 4WheelWing Nights are open to all no matter what you drive… except for Skodas, they’re just a little too weird.

So bring out your ride and join us at Gator Ted’s Tap and Grill, the fun starts at 7pm, you may be one of the lucky ones to go home with a door prize, and you definitely won’t leave hungry.

See you there

Durham 4×4 Adopt-a-Trail Cleanup of Boundary Rd/Hoggs Back @ Boundary Rd and Hoggs Back Trails
May 25 @ 10:00 am – May 26 @ 1:00 pm

Date has been moved to the 25th due to the trail conditions in an effort to not tear up soft areas or have volunteers stuck everywhere.

Under the OF4WD adopt-a-trail program Durham 4×4 will be doing a cleanup day (weekend) as the season opens of the Boundary Rd and Hoggs Back trail set.

The more the merrier as Boundary Rd / Hoggs Back is a decent length and the north section will be mainly trimming back brush.

We are asking clean-up volunteers to meet us at 9am rain or shine at Boundary Road & Cochrane Road intersection, which is not far from Purple Woods. If you come down the road at Purple woods like you are going to do the trail then hang a right when it ends that should bring you right to us.

4WheelWing Nights @ Gator Teds Tap and Grill
Aug 14 @ 7:00 pm

Following a review of basic 4-wheeling principles, our guides will take you out for an awesome trail ride to put into practice what you have learned. With your new found knowledge, you are free to experience some of the other trails available for the duration of the event. Many first-timers have come to CampNL to get their feet wet and learn about responsible 4WD-based recreation and have come back year after year to even become guides! This instructional course is offered at no additional charge. Rock Crawling 101 Have you been wheeling for a few years and taken the time to build your rig to handle to best Ontario has to offer? Ontario Rock Crawling Champions will once again take experienced offroaders who have a minimum of 35s, lockers front and rear and a winch, on an extreme rock trail and teach them the techniques and strategies for responsible and effective rock crawling and spotting. Aug 24 @ 9:00 am – 4:00 pm

We from Niagara Area Jeep Club want to say thank you for your continued support each year.

We raised $5000 to donate in total for Bethlehem Housing Support Services last year and plan to donate to them again this year. We had 116 jeeps/4x4s registered last year and hope to grow both more with each year that passes.

This year’s event will take place on Saturday, August 24th, 2019 from 9am-4pm at a new venue address: 1100 Niagara St, Welland, ON. With moving the date earlier and using this new venue we will have much more opportunities to grow this event and what we can do at it as well as how much more we can raise for charity.

4WheelWing Nights @ Gator Teds Tap and Grill
Nov 13 @ 7:00 pm
