You can’t download the entire trail index directly to your ipad. But you can get an app (I don’t know which one) that you can open GPX files with and then you can download and open the individual GPX files on your ipad. Depending on what Ipad you have you can even get specific apps that will allow you to use your ipad like a GPS and show you where you are along a route.
