We ran old logging road and concession today and the conditions were definitely dryer then expected. Old logging road is doable in 2wd without tearing up the trail too much in all but one or two spots. The biggest surprise was what the loggers did to the deep water hole.
What used to be a fun little water section with rocks on the bottom is now a highway. The former jeep eater hole is now just a foot deep of water and tons of silt. I still wouldn't venture in it though because there is no solid bottom yet.
Concession isn't bad right now, but it has some spots that can be 2-3 feet deep. There are a couple trees that could use a trim but I forgot my hatchet. I actually broke through 20 feet of ice on one of the water holes which was a surprise. Do watch out for the culvert half way through the trail. Some sleds with studs tore it up and a jeep might punch through it now. Just go around it for now.
