Quick heads up, lots of conservation land in that area of Ontario…a quick Google search shows no less than 10 "management areas" including "Kemble Mountain Management Area that falls under Grey Sauble Conservation.
Kemble Mountain Loop is also listed on the OTC website…
Kemble Mountain offers visitors a diversity of ecosystems including upland hardwood forest, silver maple swamp, Escarpment talus slope and open fields. A network of trails along logging roads winds through the forest, taking hikers and skiers to the cliff edge for an impressive view over Georgian Bay farmlands and the village of Kemble below.
Most of Kemble Mountain Management Area has been classified as a Life Science Area of Natural and Scientific Interest (ANSI). The forest is home to two provincially rare and eight locally rare plant species.
The trails in the area are also part of the Bruce Trail System and is located on the Niagara Escarpment and falls under Niagara Escarpment Commission regulations and is listed as a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
Now, I must say I have never been up to the area due to the information I have found on the web, so I can not be sure if the area in question is the same area I am referencing in this post, but I thought I would post the info to help with research.
