I have no bias between air lockers and mechanically actuated lockers (my Mercedes has mechanically actuated lockers at both ends) but the ARB using an air supply also kicks ass .If you can afford the ARB setup you will also have onboard air. If you go with the mechanical (like the OX) it will usually engage firmly with just a cable but Nothing is infallible.Pay your money, enjoy your truck and move on.
