I figured it was time I posted on the forum. I am a relatively new member, as my club in Ottawa joined OF4WD recently.

My truck is a 1974 Steyr-Puch Pinzgauer. It is the 710M 4×4 model, or troop carrier. I had it at Trailfest this past weekend and had a blast. My run down Dewdney was something I won't soon forget!

    Some pics:

Nice Pinz. You need to run it with a bit more weight (like maybe 2000lbs in the back) so that the suspension can work and not turn you on your side. I find my Mog likes to have a bit of a load in the back so that it doesn't behave like an unloaded pickup truck. Glad you had fun.

You are right. I am thinking of one of those water bags used for pickups in the winter.

those pics are great, now i understand how the pinz drive line works. Looking at Joshes from the side had me scratching my head. Now I get how it's put together 😉  Was great meeting you at trailfest hopefully you make it down this way again next season
