Join us November 9th for a cleanup of Boundary road in co-operation with other user groups, and Lafarge ltd. We start at 8am and go until 11 at which time we will head back to the Port Perry Snowmobile Club, for a BBQ lunch, graciously provided by Lafarge.
I just got back from the Boundary Rd cleanup. It's a shame there are so many inconsiderate contractors and home owners that would rather dump shingles and renovation refuse than pay their share. Many thanks to those OF4WD members (including a few board members) and others that showed up to give a hand. Especially thank you to the 2 snowmobile clubs and LaFarge for making this possible, providing coffee and muffins in the morning, gloves, safety glasses, heavy duty garbage bags and a place to leave the crap we picked up and at the end, a really tasty barbeque.
There was a lot of debris in there and it definitely reminded me of Swift Rapids Road with all of the construction debris in there. The snow definitely made things interesting in the morning. It was amazing to see how many people were in there with atv's and bikes in the afternoon.
