Hey all..was planning on a trip to concession lake and have a few questions. I have never been before and I was reading on the forum that you can camp on the trail??  Also how long would the entire trail take to run, I plan on leaving Sunday August 3 and camping that night and finishing up August 4th. Would that  sound reasonable?

Also anyone that wants to join is welcome because as of right now I have no friends that can join.

The whole trail can easily be driven in about 5 hours and that's really taking your time. Most people just camp to make an outing of it. The camping spot is nice and right beside a lake.

Just log into the OF4WD.com website with your membership number and you can pull up all the latest details including last recorded conditions, see the trail heads, and even download the GPX file for your GPS unit.

I'm thinking of heading up that way too, maybe this long weekend.

If it gets busy are there enough spots for a few trucks?

As in to allow other groups to pass?

    Yes.

    And, there's no nerfing permitted.

I just noticed your post saying you were planning to go alone if no one joined you. I highly advise against that.  Particularly for that trail.  There are several deep water crossings and if you make the wrong choice on some of them you can get yourself into big trouble.  If you are going without someone who doesn't know the trail at least go with a friend who can pull you out if you get stuck.  I've personally been involved with the recovery of one jeep off that trail that didn't drive home and personally know people involved in the rescue of two others, and I've only been wheeling since 2010.
