Just wondering if anyone can tell me what the largest truck (physical size, not lifted size) truck that people have seen go down this trail?
I've been on the trail many times, very familiar with it, I'm just looking for real world opinions, as I'm looking at building a rig, and wondering how big I can go without writing myself out of running this trail.
There is nothing tight on that trail that would limit any size truck in there. As far as a real world limit I wouldn't bring a deuce and a half through there. Full size trucks with 40 inch plus tires have been through the trail without issue.
Thats what I thought, I think if the trail like an nice access road, nice and wide. I don't remember any areas that a full size vehicle would have any issues.
I had some comments made to me that I may have issues with a full size, so I was second guessing myself if I was forgetting something about the trail.
Don't let people discourage you about full size rigs and their capabilitys. Just because it's not a Jeep means nothing. It doesn't get much bigger than our Ex on 44" rubber. We have navigated almost every trail on the database without any issues. Remember it's not a race. It's more driver skill, knowing your rig and where your tires are.
I've seen youtube videos of guys with their Ram 2500 Power Wagons doing that trail. Also talked to a guy who took his Power Wagon through that trail without issue. I'm probably going to do the same thing this year with my Wagon.
If anyone would know about wheeling a full size rig it's Moddz, that trail I would never hesitate to bring just about anything down size wise. There are several others though where things get a bit tight. It can be done though.
