Hi All, my name's Josh and I'm new to the OF4WD. I've been wheeling for about a year now and just since joined the Federation last week. Hoping to meet some new people to go exploring with. I did meet a few great people last November when I showed up to the Boundary Road clean up day to see if I could lend a hand and I received a very warm welcome. I currently drive a 1982 Pinzgauer 712(6×6) with 33" Mud Country's and will soon be mounting my new 9.5 Superwinch to it(I'll post pics later). I live in Innisfil but store my truck in Aurora for the time being so I'm back and forth a fair bit. I'd love to meet some locals from the surrounding areas and go have some fun.

It is Awesum Brett, it actually slowed down the clean up efforts with everyone stopping to droll over it. Glad to see you here Josh, it was good talking to you and thanks for the help at the clean up. Welcome to the forum.

Hey Pinz,
Good to see ya here. Did you happen to run Crystal lake last week? Rob Rea said he ran into a guy driving a Pinz, was it you?
Just curious about the downed tree on Crystal lake

Hey Sibbles,
Yes, that was me and although my wife and I were in the area we were unsure if we actually found the Crystal Lake trail as our GPS was giving us a hard time and we were unfamiliar with the area. If we were in the right area we did not find any trees down during our adventures although we had our chainsaw at the ready. We will hopefully be buying a new GPS this week or finding out what went wrong and we will re-explore the area again and I will promise to make a report next time with accurate info; too much guessing this time to make an informed update.June 5, 2013 at 8:03 am #3175Anonymous

When you entered the trail did you cross an underwater bridge of rock after you got off the access road? After the water crossing you go up the hill where there is alot of rock and drive past the camp sites on the left over looking the lake?

Hey Josh, just saw your comment about buying a new GPS. If you are going to pick one up, give Radio World a call and ask for Leo. Don't forget to mention you're a current OF4WD Member at the beginning of the conversation. Radio World is an OF4WD supporter and gives discounts for current members. We may have something coming up with them shortly, so stay tuned for details.

Hey Wrangler,
thanks for the heads up. I was actually at that Tim Horton's a couple of weeks ago with my truck and met a few of the Kool Katz guys, hoping to stop in again this week to see what's happening.LugNutz,
thanks also to you for the heads up about Radio World I went to see the guys there last Friday and picked up a new Garmin 62S and a CB for my truck, the OF4WD discount was much appreciated. Hopefully I'll get up north soon and really test it out. -
