Sheppard Run Oct 18?

I'm a new member this year, with the purchase of my new Jeep back in January.  I see there is a Sheppard run on Oct 18 in the calendar.  I submitted the form to participate but I have not heard back and I can't see any messages in this forum talking about it.  Is it still a go?

Hi Mike,

It is my understanding it has been full for a while,  so if you signed up today you did not make the cut off.

If you have previously signed up, you would have received a Confirmation e-mail if you registered in before it was full. Please check your junk/spam folder in case you have missed the mail.

OK, I understand.  I missed the first newbie run this spring and I was too slow on the fall newbie run, too.  🙁

If for any reason you miss the spring newbie run again, remember that a lot of the OF4WD affiliated clubs do their own newbie runs too. 

The SSO has no choice but to cut it off.  This past weekend there were 40 trucks out.

That's a lot to keep track of for something that started out as a small group run that has grown.

Thanks, I hope this weekend was a blast for everyone!  I totally understand about the numbers, I thought 25 was a lot, but 40?  Wow…yeah, I could only imagine the logistics. 

Checking out a local club is something I should do.  I'm going to look into that.
