There is a trail near my work that isn't listed on the trail index.  I submitted a trail report, but I wasn't sure if that went anywhere as I wasn't able to include a ton of information.  So just in case I thought I would post here.

The trail is just west of Kingston.  It follows powerlines between county road #4 and county road #6.  The entrance to the trail on county road #4 is exactly 7.0 KM's south of the 401.  It is about 300 meters north of the train bridge crossing.  The coordinates are 44.2208,-76.754179 according to Google maps.

There is a sign saying to use the trail at your own risk.  All around the trail appears to be farmers fields.  There is also very deep water in one spot on both sides of the trail, deep enough to sink a full sized truck.  The trail also narrows at one point, but still seems wide enough for a truck/jeep.  This is where I turned around as I didn't want to scratch my paint.

I don't have any more info about this trail as I only ventured about 1 KM into it before turning around.

The trail also might extend further west of county road #4 and east of county road #6, but it's too hard to tell from the road and I haven't ventured in yet due to having stock tires (new tires are on the way).

    Hello

We did get your report and I have this in my to do list.  Would you perhaps have a GPS track or partial track I can work with?

I don't have a GPS track.  Tell me how to do it and I'll get it done tomorrow.  The built in nav in my Ram doesn't seem to give me any way to track my route, but I could be wrong.

I don't have a stand alone GPS, but I do have an iPhone

Figured out how to create a gpx file.

This is as far as I went.  The trail continues on all the way to county road #6

I posted the trail entrance coordinates.  Here's the trail end coordinates.
    44.239773,-76.682146

The trail comes out at Gun Rd. which is an unassumed road.  I ventured in a bit today, but until my new Nitto tires arrive, I don't want to venture in too far as it's quite wet and muddy in spots.

Once my new tires arrive, I'll take a trip through the whole trail and document everything better.  But for now, this is all I can offer.

Hate to sound like a nag but particularly when exploring an unknown trail you should bring another rig with you. That way if anything happens you still have a way out at worst and at best a way to get unstuck.

I agree, but this trail is not overly close to where I live, but it is close to my work place so I ventured in after work one day.  Worst case scenario I'll walk to a farm and ask them to give me a hand.  Also, if it gets tricky, I will just turn back.  From what little I've seen, it's nothing exciting
