What time is it you ask?

    It's time for the ……..

    TWO SCOOP SUNDAE RUN!

    Your Hosts: Hapla and Keeta
    The Trail: Hogsback in Omemee
Where to meet: Roadside Diner, 139 King Street West, Omemee
Time & Day to meet: Sunday, May, 18th at 9am

We will start with Hogsback and work our way Eastward towards the General Store in Eniskillen where we will finish off the day with ICE CREAM!

Trail requirements: Pull points and OF4WD membership
Trail info: Mostly hard packed, rocky, some hills, water crossings/mud holes and can be tight in some spots. Is newbie friendly that offers a little more excitement than Boundary Road. Given the expected rain fall between now and Sunday, we are expecting the trail to be a little muddier than usual and higher water crossings. No worries though as we'll throw one of our trail guides in the mud hole to judge depth, if we have one with us. Otherwise, its a newbie.

What to bring: A willingness to enjoy nature, have fun and get dirty. Perhaps the usual of drinks and snacks would be wise.

The Two Scoops Sundae Run is just a run that Hap and I are doing and if anyone would like to join us then we are up for the company. Its a day to just have fun and meet new or old people. Anyone and everyone is welcome no matter what jeepie type wheeled metal box thing you drive, big or small. HAHA

It sounds like hogsback is pretty tight in some spots.  Is it possible to get a full size truck through that trail?

I really don't know. I would think yes but how much do you like your paint? I am not sure what a full size truck can get through.

I was touching tree branches on both sides with the XJ at some points. The big hill at the ski hill may be a problem too.

We had a total of 8 rigs show up and do the run. It was a great day out with a little water, dirt, mud and ICE CREAM… LOL

We are looking forward to doing another sometime. I need to start looking for more light trails in other places and new ice cream spots.

We may even have to start thinking of another run. Slice of Barrie Pie Run?

Who knows what could happen next. 😉
