Install kits include includes a pinion seal, crush sleeve (if applicable), complete shim kit, pinion nut, pinion seal, marking compound and brush. Minimum installation kits are a low cost solution for gear changes in newer vehicles where the bearings can be reused.
Master overhaul kits Include carrier bearings and races, pinion bearings and races, pinion seal, complete shim kit, ring gear bolts, pinion nut, crush sleeve (if applicable), oil baffles and slingers (if applicable), thread locking compound, marking compound with brush, and gasket.
Re-gearing your Jeep can shift the power to a more usable range. By installing new gears in your Jeep, you may notice an increase in power, mileage and use of higher transmission gears on the highway. New gears are recommended for Jeeps running 35" or larger tires.
