Individual Membership Renewals
For those members that are looking to renew their memberships this will give you an outline of the new process.
With moving to our new website and membership system it has allowed us to automate the membership renewal taking some of the task away from our Membership Director.
The first thing that you need to be aware of is that if you’re a current paid member your membership is valid until March 31st 2016 and there is nothing that you need to do until you receive the renewal notice from the system.
The system will send out renewal notices on February 1st that will include a link to renew your membership for the 2016 2017 season. Regular reminder notices will be sent out by the system until you’ve renewed your membership. If you do not renew your membership by March 31st 2016 your membership will expire.
The renewal link that is on the website in the membership menu applies to the current year. It is intended for those members that have let their membership lapse and want to renew it for the remaider of the current season, This renewal is at a pro rated amount calculated by the system. After renewing your membership for the remainder of the current year you would receive a renewal notice February 1st with a link to extend your membership to the end of 2016.
For example anyone who was a member but let their membership lapse and wish to renew it so they can enjoy some winter wheeling at the newly created trails at South Wind Motel & Campground can use the link on the membership menu of the site. You will pay the pro rated amount now for the current year and then receive a notice to pay for the upcoming year.
Just to be clear, if you’re a current paid member please do not use the link on the website. Please wait until you receive the renewal notice.
A guide on how to renew if you’re a club member will be coming out shortly.
