Opeongo Winter Trail Cleanup 2018

‘Twas 2 weeks to Christmas and all through the Opeongo not a tree was upright not even a bush.
The sledheads were nestled all snug in their beds, while visions of braaaaap danced in their heads.
When out on the trail there arose such a clatter, I sprang from my Facebook to see what was the matter.
When, what to my wondering eyes should appear, but a team of OF4WD and KATVA volunteers,
with chainsaws to help.

A big thanks to OF4WD’s own Ruth and Dave, Mike, Radek, Peter and Evan for answering the call with KATVA to help the Opeongo Snowbirds open their trails in time for Christmas. Volunteers working together to keep multi-use trails open for all to enjoy all year around.

Never said we were poets, but we can swing a mean chainsaw.
(with apologies to Clement Clarke Moore)
