About the Trail Index

The trail index map is a simple map of 4WD friendly trails with in the province on Ontario. The tool will allow you to locate trails, download a GPS track and learn about the specific trail. The index highlights vehicle requirements, what to expect and points of interest along the way. The system also allows you to find places to stay and re-nourish yourself. Whether it be a hotel, motel, B&B, campground or public lands camping, the choice is yours. Pick your adventure and explore.

Currently the trail index map is undergoing a new revision where we hope to allow more interactive feature for the end user. Mobile device compatibility and better visual mapping is the main objective for this project. Stay tuned for more details as we progress the project.
